SACRAMENTO–Today Governor Gavin Newsom signed AB 290, a bill that will stop large dialysis clinics from reaping excessive profits at the expense of health care consumers.

SACRAMENTO–Today, Governor Gavin Newsom signed AB 824 by Assemblymember Jim Wood (D-Santa Rosa) and sponsored by Attorney General Xavier Becerra, which will provide the tools the Attorney General needs to prevent brand name and generic pharmaceutical companies from pocketing billions in profits by using a “pay-for-delay” practice.

SACRAMENTO–Today Governor Gavin Newsom signed AB 1088 by Assemblymember Jim Wood (D-Santa Rosa), a bill that will protect low-income seniors turning 65 and people with disabilities from a loophole in existing law that results in their losing access to Medi-Cal coverage.

SACRAMENTO–Governor Gavin Newsom recently signed AB 109 and SB 109, which in part provides $1.5 million in aid to Sonoma County for the devastation left behind from the 2019 Russian River Flood.
