Gov. Jerry Brown is setting aside $1.5 million in the state budget to fund the cleanup of illegal marijuana grow sites in Mendocino, Humboldt and Trinity counties, according to a press release from Assemblyman Jim Wood’s office. “Our beautiful pristine forests have become havens for these illegal grow sites,” said Wood, who represents the three counties.
