(Sacramento) – During the latest hearing of the Assembly Select Committee on Health Care Delivery Systems and Universal Coverage, Committee Co-chair Assemblymember Jim Wood (D-Healdsburg), spoke about the challenges of making significant changes to California’s health care system. “As we dig deeper into this policy issue, we recognize that in order to be successful defining a pathway to universal coverage, we must address some obvious and potential challenges related to state and federal law,” Assemblymember Wood said.
